S.A.Sobhan, A Bengali District Magistrate (1930s)

S.A.Sobhan (1911 - 1971) was a Bengali officer who, upon partition of India and Pakistan, was absorbed into the Civil Service of Pakistan (CSP) while those that went to India became part of the Indian Civil Service. His last appointment with the Government of Pakistan was Secretary Planning, in the President's Secretariat where he with worked directly with Gen. Mohammad Ayub Khan, then President of Pakistan.
