Paragraph on Karnafuli Tunnel

Karnafuli Tunnel is a very long underwater road that is being built in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is going to be almost 10 kilometers long, with a big part of it being under the Karnaphuli river. The tunnel is being made to help people travel faster and easier between cities like Dhaka, Chittagong, and Cox's Bazar. It is also going to be the first tunnel of its kind in South Asia. The tunnel is being built by a company from China called China Communications Construction Company. It is a very expensive project, costing around US$1.1 billion. The Chinese Exim Bank is helping to pay for half of it. The tunnel is expected to be finished in 2023, and it will be a very important part of the highway network in Bangladesh. The work on the tunnel started in 2017, and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, and the leader of China, Xi Jinping, visited the construction site. The tunnel pieces were made in China and then brought to Bangladesh to be put together. Sheikh Hasina also started the part of the work where the tunnel was being dug underground. When the tunnel is done, it will be a big help to the people of Bangladesh.
