A dialogue between on how to do well/ how to make a good result in the examination
Tom: Hey Asif, how's it going?
Asif: Hey, I'm doing well, thanks for asking. How about you?
Tom: Not great actually. But hey, congratulations on acing your exams!
Asif: Thank you very much. But why do you look so down?
Tom: Well, my grades weren't as good as I hoped. I failed in a few subjects and the marks I got in others were not satisfactory. I'm worried and I really want to do better.
Asif: Don't worry, you can definitely improve.
Tom: Can I talk to you about it?
Asif: Sure thing.
Tom: You always get good grades, what's your secret?
Asif: Well, there are a few things that help. Firstly, study regularly and with focus. Secondly, don't just memorize things without understanding them. Thirdly, make your own notes and review them frequently.
Tom: Anything else?
Asif: Yes, it's important to have a good general knowledge base, so read reference books in addition to your regular textbooks.
Tom: Do you have any specific advice for me?
Asif: Yes, work on your language skills, especially your writing ability, as you'll have to express everything in writing in exams.
Tom: Thanks for the helpful tips. I really appreciate it.
Asif: You're welcome. I hope you do well in your next exams.
Tom: Thanks, I'll need all the good luck I can get. Gotta go now. Bye!
Asif: Take care, bye!
