A dialogue between two friends about the unemployment problem in Bangladesh
Myself: Greetings, my friend.
Friend: Hello, how are you?
Myself: I'm doing well, thanks, but I'm concerned about some issues.
Friend: What seems to be the problem?
Myself: The problem of unemployment.
Friend: What exactly is the unemployment problem?
Myself: It's when skilled individuals remain jobless and without work opportunities.
Friend: Can you explain it more clearly?
Myself: Sure, let's say my elder brother holds an MA degree. He is currently seeking a job, but there are no available vacancies anywhere. As a result, he is unemployed, and this situation poses a problem.
Friend: Why is it problematic?
Myself: It becomes an issue because he is unable to contribute to the country's workforce and lacks a source of income.
Friend: I see. So, you mean to say that without income, he becomes a burden?
Myself: Yes, that's the reality. After completing their education, most people aspire to find a job and earn a living.
Friend: What do you think is causing this problem in our country?
Myself: The main issue is the lack of opportunities. The government has not created enough job prospects for the unemployed population.
Friend: What measures should the government take to address this?
Myself: The government could offer various training programs and explore the option of exporting skilled labor to other countries. This could potentially help alleviate the unemployment problem.
Friend: Anything else they can do?
Myself: Indeed, the government and business leaders could work together to establish more industries and create job opportunities. This would significantly contribute to reducing unemployment.
Friend: Your ideas sound quite promising!
Myself: Really? Thank you so much.
Friend: You're welcome, and thank you too.
