A dialogue between two friends about load shedding
Myself: Greetings, my friend.
Friend: Hello, how are you doing?
Myself: I'm okay, but why do you seem a bit off?
Friend: Haven't you noticed the state of our electricity lately?
Myself: Oh yes, the load shedding issue. What's going on with it?
Friend: Load shedding is the discontinuation of electricity supply.
Myself: Ah, you mean the power cuts.
Friend: Exactly. It's caused by various factors.
Myself: Can you mention some of those causes?
Friend: Sure, mismanagement, corruption, illegal connections, system loss, and wastage of electricity are the main culprits.
Myself: And what are the consequences of load shedding?
Friend: Production in mills and factories halts, and perishable items stored in refrigerators and cold storage go bad.
Myself: That's really troublesome. What do you think is the solution?
Friend: We need to increase electricity production and address issues like mismanagement, corruption, system loss, and illegal connections.
Myself: You're absolutely right.
Friend: Thank you.
Myself: You're welcome.
