Dear Samia,
I just got a letter from Mom. I'm really surprised to learn that you're not taking part in the fun activities at your school.
You know, these school days are some of the best times in your life. Your school is a famous one. Many students there are joining in extra activities alongside their studies. From what I understand, your school offers you a bunch of cool things to do. But it seems like you're not interested in those extra things. You should know that doing these activities can help you a lot as you grow up. Let me explain how. If you join the debating club, you'll get better at speaking in front of lots of people. It'll also help you get better at arguing and make you a great speaker. And if you become a part of the English club, you'll get better at speaking English smoothly. If you're in the reading club, you'll learn more about books from all around the world. All of these things will be super helpful in the future. And if you're in the writing club, you'll be able to show off your special talents. So, there are lots of good reasons to do these activities.
So, I really think you should start getting involved in all those fun school activities right now. It's a way to help yourself have a great future. Write back soon and let me know what you think.
That's all for today.
With love,
Elma
