A Rainy Day

A rainy day is a day when it rains a lot, either in the rainy season or other times. It's a day when it rains heavily and doesn't stop raining much. In Bangladesh, people are happy to have a rainy day after the very hot summer. The sky becomes dark and the weather gets wet on a rainy day. It's not very bright because the sun is mostly hidden by the rain clouds. Sometimes, the sun peeks through the dark clouds. Normal life gets messed up. People get tired of staying inside their houses. Water collects on the roads and makes them muddy and slippery. People who need to go outside or to work carry umbrellas and walk with their shoes in their hands and their clothes rolled up. But students who go to school usually enjoy rainy days because they don't have to go to school. So, there are fewer students from different schools. Kids are happy and play in the rainwater. However, a rainy day has different sides. Some people find it really nice and charming, while others like day laborers, poor villagers, and people with jobs don't enjoy it as much. Sometimes, they can't work because of the heavy rain. Honestly, a rainy day brings both fun and difficulties. But in our country, it causes more problems for regular people than happiness.
