Dialogue between an interviewer and an interviewee looking for a job as a public relation officer
Interviewee:
Good morning, sir.
Interviewer:
Good morning. Please, take a seat.
Interviewee:
Thank you, sir.
Interviewer:
Can you kindly introduce yourself?
Interviewee:
Certainly. I have recently completed my MA in Journalism from the University of Dhaka, where I achieved a second-class merit. My results were announced just last week, and this is my very first interview.
Interviewer:
I see you're quite new to the field. How do you think you can handle this position?
Interviewee:
I am confident in my capabilities, and my academic background aligns perfectly with the responsibilities of this role.
Interviewer:
However, everyone else in this position has had significant experience.
Interviewee:
Sir, experience is something that comes with time. Everyone starts without any experience, but through diligence, they can overcome any challenges.
Interviewer:
You're right. Nevertheless, this is a highly sensitive position, and I cannot take any risks with it.
Interviewee:
I understand that, and I assure you that I will handle all responsibilities properly if given the opportunity.
Interviewer:
Then we can offer you a trial period of one month, with a fixed lump sum amount. If we find you suitable, we will consider you for the position.
Interviewee:
That's great, sir. I will do my best to prove my worth.
Interviewer:
Can you join us next Sunday?
Interviewee:
No problem, sir.
Interviewer:
Excellent. See you on Sunday.
Interviewee:
Thank you, sir.
Interviewer:
Goodbye.
Interviewee:
Goodbye.
