Dialogue Between Two Friends on Campus Violence
Zafi: Hey Zarif! How are you?
Zarif: I'm not doing well. How about you?
Zafi: I'm doing fine. But what's bothering you? Why did you come here at night?
Zarif: Earlier in the evening, a really bad fight happened on campus. The authorities told all students to leave the dorms. The university is closed indefinitely. Can I stay at your place?
Zafi: Of course, no problem. You can stay with us until the university reopens. Did anyone die in the fight?
Zarif: Yeah, two students—one from Economics Department and another from English Department—lost their lives. They were coming back from the library.
Zafi: Were you present on campus when the fight happened?
Zarif: Yes, I was there. I'm still scared. I really dislike this situation.
Zafi: Do you know why this fight broke out?
Zarif: Yeah, it's because of student politics. There's always some kind of clash happening on campus because of it.
Zafi: Right, there's a group of students who support the ruling party, and others support the opposition. It's really not good.
Zarif: You're absolutely correct. But the students aren't entirely to blame. They're being used by self-centered politicians who only care about themselves.
Zafi: Everyone should work together to stop this. It's not only harming the learning environment but also ruining students' lives and causing so much loss.
Zarif: Exactly! But who's going to take the first step? I think all the regular students should unite against it.
Zafi: I agree. Plus, the ruling party and the opposition, along with the teachers, can also help stop it.
Zarif: Exactly! Student politics needs to be discouraged and put to an end, no matter what.
Zafi: Let's not talk anymore for now. Go get some sleep. You'll stay with us until the university reopens. Thanks. Good night.
Zarif: Good night.
