Dialogue Between You and Bank Manager on How to Open a Savings Bank Account
Me: Can I come inside, please?
Manager: Of course, come on in and take a seat.
Me: Thank you, I appreciate it.
Manager: How can I assist you?
Me: I want to start an account at your bank.
Manager: What type of account are you interested in—Savings or Current?
Me: Savings account.
Manager: What do you do?
Me: I'm a student. I go to Govt. City College, studying in the first year of HSC class.
Manager: Got it. Here's an application form. Complete it and have someone who already has an account with us introduce you. They'll need to sign and provide their address and account number on the form.
Me: Is that all?
Manager: Not quite. This is a signature card. Put your signature on it and attach two small photos of yourself. Your introducer should confirm the photos too. You'll need at least one thousand taka to start. Once you're done with everything, your account will be ready.
Me: Alright, I'll return when I have everything set. Thanks for your help.
Manager: You're welcome, happy to assist.
