Early to Rise
The old saying goes, "Go to bed early and wake up early, and you'll be healthy, have money, and be smart." Before we start our daily tasks, we need enough sleep. Sleeping too much or too little can harm our health.
If you sleep late, you'll wake up late. But if you wake up early, you'll have an advantage over those who wake up late. When you wake up late, you rush through things – you might not have time to take a proper bath, eat well, or chew your food.
Mornings are fresh and peaceful. The air is calm and clean. There's a good gas called ozone in the morning air. Breathing it is like breathing in life. Sunlight in the morning is good for health, and only someone who wakes up early can benefit from it. Getting up early makes you sharp and active.
Doing exercises and taking deep breaths in the fresh morning air make you feel alive and full of energy. It's like a health tonic. Nature is calm and peaceful in the morning. When you're in nature, you feel a connection between your heart and the heart of nature.
Nature looks beautiful in the morning. Flowers have just bloomed, there's dew on the grass, and birds are singing. This makes you feel happy. Also, waking up early lets you start your work early and finish it early.
In cities, life can be artificial. Science lets us stay up late, so many city people sleep late. Everything keeps going on until late at night – factories, vehicles, and more. So city folks sleep late and wake up late. This has led to many health problems.
In villages, life is simpler. People sleep and wake up early. Their work requires it. Farmers need to wake up early to plow fields and take care of animals. Their wives need to wake up early to do chores. It's the same for others like the washerman who washes clothes.
Waking up early isn't that hard. It's about getting used to it. Once you're used to it, you'll find it easy, even in the coldest winter.
If a farmer starts working in the fields or a traveler begins their journey while others are still sleeping, they'll finish their tasks ahead of others. They can do more too. Doing some work before others start gives you confidence and satisfaction.
For students and thinkers, early morning is the best time to work. After a good rest at night, they can focus better because it's quiet in the morning.
So, waking up early keeps you healthy and ready for the day's work. When you can work, you can earn money. Success comes from hard work, attention to detail, and effort.
When you're healthy and have money, you become wise. Working and learning new things make you smart. Experience and effort lead to wisdom. Being lazy keeps you foolish.
In short, waking up early is a good habit that brings health, success, and wisdom.
