Global warming means that the air around the world is getting hotter slowly. This is happening because dirty gases like carbon dioxide are gathering in the air and not letting the heat from the sun go away into space.

This is occurring because there's less oxygen and more carbon dioxide and other gases like methane, nitrous oxide, and CFCs in the air. These gases trap the sun's warmth. This warming of the air changes the weather and causes things like storms, floods, and other big problems in nature. These problems can make crops not grow well and even cause loss of life. The carbon dioxide comes out when we burn coal and oil. This makes the ice on the North and South Poles melt, and the water in the seas might rise and cover parts of the world. Scientists are saying that places near the coast, like Bangladesh, might go underwater because of global warming. Also, the deserts are getting bigger every year. Many animals and plants are in danger of disappearing. We need to stop cutting down forests on purpose. Planting more trees is important. The media can help by talking about this too. These are the things I think we should do to stop global warming.
