Letter describing a place of historical interest

Dear Shuvo,

I hope you're doing well! I have some really interesting things to share with you. Last week, my uncle took us to a place called Bagerhat, and something amazing happened. I got to visit the 'Shatgombuj Mosque,' which is one of the most beautiful buildings in Bangladesh.

This special Mosque was built by a person named Khan Jahan Ali. It stands on sixty strong pillars and has seventy-seven really nicely curved domes on top, not sixty as its name suggests. The walls of the Mosque are really thick, about two meters. Inside, the western wall is made pretty with designs of flowers and leaves that are baked into the clay, which is called terracotta.

There's also a big pond that looks like a lake. They call it 'Ghora dighi.' And guess what? There are even crocodiles in that pond!

Honestly, the trip was so much fun and I had such a great time there. It's an experience I'll always remember.

Take care,

Sujon Ahmed
