Subject: Concern about Trees Being Cut Down
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing through your respected newspaper to share my heartfelt worry about the ongoing situation where trees are being cut down without much thought in our area, specifically in the sarenga block.
We, the people living in sarenga, have always taken pride in the presence of the beautiful old sal trees that line the main road connecting us to the Midnapur district. These trees are a part of our heritage and add to the beauty of our locality. Sadly, in the name of road expansion, these valuable trees are being cut down without proper consideration. It's disheartening to note that around three hundred trees have already been felled. This not only harms our natural surroundings but also erases a part of our heritage.
It feels deeply unjust to be careless about our trees and treat them so cruelly. The act of mindlessly cutting down trees feels like a crime against both our environment and our history. We urge you to shine a light on this matter so that it can be stopped.
Therefore, I kindly request you to allocate some space in your esteemed newspaper, perhaps in your editorial section, to bring attention to this issue. It's our hope that by highlighting this problem, we can reach the relevant authorities and bring an end to the thoughtless destruction of these trees.
Thank you for considering our concern. We look forward to your support in safeguarding our environment and heritage.
Yours faithfully,
[Your Name]
