Subject: Concerns about Waterlogging Issue in Our Area

Dear Sir,

I'm writing through your respected newspaper to share a significant concern regarding waterlogging troubles that occur during rainy days. Let me explain the situation.

We, the people living in Sarenga, are facing a big problem due to heavy rainwater getting stuck in our area during the monsoon season. This creates a lot of difficulties in our daily lives. Our neighborhood is crowded and unfortunately, we don't have a good way for the rainwater to flow away because there isn't a proper drainage system. This leads to water accumulating in the streets and after a strong rainfall, it even enters our shops and houses. The places where buses stop are also not spared from this issue. Children have to be carried on someone's shoulders to move around, and it feels like we need a small boat just to go from one place to another. This problem has been happening for more than seven or eight years now, but the authorities haven't come up with a good plan to fix it.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could allocate a small space in your editorial page to bring this matter to the attention of the higher-ups. It's something that affects many of us and we hope that by raising awareness about it, the situation might finally get the attention it deserves.
