Letter to Your Friend Declining His Invitation

Dear Ashik,

I hope this letter finds you well. I recently received your letter and read it with interest. I'm happy to learn that you're planning a picnic on the 15th of this month. It sounds like a fun day ahead! I was excited about the idea of joining in. You probably know I never miss out on such opportunities.

However, it seems luck isn't on my side this time. I won't be able to make it to the picnic. On that very day, I have an important interview scheduled. This makes it impossible for me to be there with you. Please understand my situation. I'm really looking forward to meeting you as soon as I can.
