Letter to Your Younger Brother Advising Him to Be Disciplined and Attentive to His Studies

Dear Sohag,

I hope this letter finds you well. It's been a while since we last heard from you. Just yesterday, we received your progress report for the Second Semester Examination from your school principal. To be honest, we were quite surprised and concerned to see that you didn't do well in most of your subjects. We used to think highly of you, so this news was quite disappointing.

I want to point out that time is precious, and once it's gone, you can't get it back. Similarly, getting rid of bad habits is not easy once they've taken hold. Our family isn't very wealthy, and we work hard to cover your educational expenses. We have to manage things carefully.

It's important to remember that our actions should never cause pain to our parents. Life can be tough, and only those who are prepared and capable manage to succeed. The time will come when you'll need to support yourself financially. And for a good job, you need a good education. Right now, you're in a phase of life where learning should be your focus. It's the best time to get a proper education, and I hope you'll take it seriously.
