Moral Story : Pride hath a fall
Story: The Stag and His Shiny Antlers
Once upon a time, there was a young deer that lived in a big forest. He felt really proud of his shiny, gray antlers. One day, he went to a clear stream to drink some water. While he was drinking, he saw his own reflection in the water. He was so amazed by how beautiful his antlers looked that he forgot he was thirsty. He just kept looking at them. Then he looked at his legs and felt unhappy because they were thin, weak, and didn't look nice.
While he was lost in these thoughts, he heard the loud barking of dogs nearby. These dogs were chasing him because they wanted to catch him. To save himself, he quickly jumped up and ran far away from the danger. He thought he was safe because he was hiding in some thick bushes where the dogs wouldn't find him.
But the dogs could still follow his smell, and they found him hiding in the bushes. He tried to run away again, but this time, his antlers got stuck in a bush. He struggled a lot to get free, but he couldn't. He realized that his not-so-nice legs could have helped him escape, but his beautiful antlers were causing him trouble. While he was struggling, the dogs reached him and attacked him, hurting him badly.
The lesson of the story is: When you're too proud and think too highly of yourself, you can get into trouble. Just because something looks good on the outside doesn't mean it's always good on the inside. It's important to stay humble and not let pride lead to bad decisions.
