My hobby
Doing things we enjoy is important in life. Hobbies help us stay busy when we have free time and make us feel happy. They make us forget our worries and inspire us. Hobbies make life more interesting and nice. They give us energy and teach us about doing work.
All hobbies are helpful in some way. But the one I like the most is gardening. I've started to like it recently. It's both enjoyable and doesn't cost much.
I've always liked nature and thought flowers and plants were nice. But I never truly understood how much joy they bring to people until now. I'm learning a lot from them.
Gardening gives us good exercise. It teaches us to use our hands to work. It lets us get close to nature. Digging the ground to make flower beds and canals for water is fun. This kind of exercise feels good.
Gardening teaches us about plants. It's really nice to watch tiny leaves grow from seeds and become plants. We learn when certain flowers and plants grow, what they need to grow well, their habits, and when they do best.
We also learn about plant problems and how to fix them. Just reading books doesn't teach us all this. In gardening, we learn from nature directly.
Gardening makes a place look beautiful. A dull spot starts to change. Plants grow buds that become pretty flowers of different colors. It makes the whole place look charming.
The flowering plants, climbing plants, green grass, and hedges make the place really nice. We know these come from the earth, and that's what makes it so joyful.
Gardening also makes us feel good and healthy. We enjoy the fresh air, cool breeze, and shade from trees. The flowers smell nice and make the air fresh. It helps our mind feel better and gives our body more energy.
