Street accidents happen a lot in Bangladesh. We read about them in newspapers every day. Buses, trucks, rickshaws, and other vehicles are involved. The number of accidents is increasing. This is a big problem. Many people die every year because of these accidents. Most accidents happen in cities. There are many reasons for accidents. One main reason is careless driving. People don't follow traffic rules. There aren't enough traffic police. Roads can be damaged or narrow. People don't know enough about safety. Even pedestrians don't always cross the road safely. Some things can help reduce accidents. Radio and TV can teach people about safety. The government should also take steps. Roads should be planned well. New ways to control traffic should be used. Rules should be followed, and bad drivers punished. Broken vehicles should be taken off the road. People should get driving licenses fairly. Then we can hope for safer roads.
