Subject: Asking permission for a study tour.

Dear Sir,

I am writing on behalf of the students in class seven of your school. We respectfully request permission to go on a study tour to Mainamati, a historical place. Our regular classes have become dull and boring, and a study tour would help us break this monotony and increase our knowledge.

We have two teachers who are willing to accompany and guide our group of 15 members. The tour is planned for two days, and we estimate that each student would need Tk. 3000. We are willing to contribute Tk. 2500 each, and we kindly request Tk. 7500 in addition to our contribution.

We sincerely hope that you will grant us permission and provide the required support to make this tour a success.
