Essay Or Composition about A Journey by Boat

Introduction:

Going on a boat ride is a really nice and interesting experience. It feels like a fun adventure, especially for people who live in busy cities like Dhaka. When a few of my friends suggested we go on a boat journey, I was really excited and said yes right away.

Time and Getting Ready:

This happened in October 2010. We went from Dhaka Sadarghat to Munshigonj. There were six of us, and we rented a big boat and got everything ready for the trip. The weather was nice, and the river was calm and peaceful.

The Journey Details:

We started around 12 o'clock in the daytime. The person steering the boat guided us, and we moved along smoothly. A gentle wind blew, and small waves gently touched the boat. The river made a soft, soothing sound. As we sailed, we enjoyed looking at the beautiful things on both sides of the river. Around 3 p.m., we reached a village market and got off the boat to buy a big 'Hilsha fish.' The person steering the boat cooked it, and we had a really yummy meal. After resting for a while, we continued on our journey. Evening came, and the setting sun's light reflected on the calm water, making the river look even more beautiful. We went up to the top of the boat and enjoyed the great view of nature. The red rays of the setting sun made the green fields look really special, and it was like magic. After seven hours, around 6 p.m., we reached Munshigonj ghat. Our friends there gave us a warm welcome.

The Trip Back:

We had a great time with our friends. After about two hours, we got back on the boat and started the journey back. It was a nice night with a bright moon. All my friends gathered on the roof of the boat, and the moonlight made the river look incredibly beautiful. One of my friends started singing a sweet song, and it felt like we were in a dreamland full of happiness and beauty. Even the person steering the boat joined in and sang:

"Row, row, row the boat,

Gently down the stream.

Merrily, merrily, merrily,

Life is but a dream."

As the night got later, we went inside the cabin, lay down, and fell asleep. The next morning, we woke up to the daylight, and our boat had arrived at Sadarghat. We got off the boat, and our boat journey came to a happy ending.

Conclusion:

A boat trip is really wonderful. It gives us exciting and enjoyable moments that are hard to put into words but are really felt. This journey will always be a special memory, and it will keep giving us peaceful happiness in the future.
