Subject: Request for permission to go on a study tour

Dear Sir,

I am writing on behalf of the students from class six at our school to seek your permission for a study tour to 'Cox's Bazar'. We believe that simply reading books is not enough to fully understand things; it's essential to see them with our own eyes. A study tour is not only interesting but also educational. It enriches our knowledge of history and traditions and broadens our perspective. Additionally, attending regular classes can become monotonous, making our lives dull and boring. This tour would provide a refreshing break from our routine.

Two of our teachers have agreed to accompany and guide us during the tour. The estimated cost for the study tour is Taka 8,000.00, and we are willing to contribute half of the total expenditure.

Therefore, we kindly request your permission to go on this study tour and sanction Tk.8,000.00 for the purpose. Your approval would be greatly appreciated.
