Dear Sir,

It is a matter of great pleasure that a friendly cricket match will be played today at 2:00 P. M on our school play ground. It will be played between our school team and Joynagar High School team. We wish to enjoy the game and encourage our team.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us a half-holiday to enjoy the game and oblige thereby.
