Dear Sir,
You are fully aware that our school team has won the championship in the Inter- School District Cricket Tournament 2012 against the Sonapur High School team held yesterday. It is really a great honour for our school. We are very proud of it. So we wish to celebrate our glorious victory in a befitting manner.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us a day's holiday to celebrate our glorious victory and oblige thereby.
