A bus stand is a place where buses stop and start from. We find bus stands at different points in cities and towns. We also find bus stands on highways. A bus stand is an important place. It always remains crowded and busy at peak hour. When a bus comes, passengers, hawkers and helpers become busy. Pushing and moving occurs among the passengers. Then it looks like a battle field. But when it leaves the bus stand, it becomes calm. Some bus stands have passengers shed, bookstalls, tea stalls and fruit stalls. Some bus stands have ticket counters. Beggars are also seen there. Porters wait passengers for carrying bags and luggage. Sometimes evildoers are seen to harm passengers. Though a bus stand sometimes causes traffic jam, it plays an important role in communication system. So the service quality of a bus stand should be increased.
