Story | A Farmer And His Lazy Sons

Once upon a time, there was a farmer who had three sons. These sons were strong and good-looking, and they were very proud of themselves. However, they were lazy and spent most of their time wandering around the town. They thought that working in the fields with their father was beneath them.

The poor father tried his best to explain to them the importance of hard work, but they didn't listen to his advice. Their behavior deeply troubled him, as he knew that if they didn't work, they would go hungry. This thought bothered him so much that he became sick. Even though his sons did everything they could to save him, his health didn't improve. Eventually, the doctor informed them that their father was close to death.

Even on his deathbed, the old man couldn't stop thinking about his sons. Just before he passed away, he came up with a wonderful idea. He called his sons and informed them that he had hidden all his wealth somewhere in the fields. However, he didn't tell them the exact location of the treasure and took his last breath.

After their father's death, the sons went to the fields and started digging the earth, hoping to find the hidden treasure. They dug very deep but couldn't find anything valuable. Then they realized that they should focus on planting and cultivating their fields instead. So, that's what they did.

That year, they had a bountiful harvest and sold their crops in the market. One night, while they were counting their earnings, the youngest brother suddenly realized that the treasure their father had promised them was actually the wealth they had earned through their hard work. He shared this discovery with his brothers, and they were overjoyed. They shed tears and expressed their gratitude to their deceased father for the valuable lesson he had taught them.
