Story | A Hungry Fox

Once a hungry fox was searching for food in a forest. It walked here and there for food but in vain. After a while he came to a vineyard. There were ripe grapes in the vineyard. They were very fleshy. He was very tempted at the sight of the ripe grapes hanging very high. He thought to himself and wished to have a delicious meal of the ripe grapes. He jumped to reach the grapes. But the bunch of the ripe grapes was too high for the fox to reach. He could not resist his temptation to have the taste of the ripe grapes. So he jumped and jumped to reach the grapes. But the bunch of the ripe grapes was too high for the fox to reach. The poor fox tried repeatedly and ceaselessly. But he failed to reach the bunch of the ripe grapes. He became tired and left the place being disappointed. He consoled himself by murmuring that the grapes were sour and so he did not have them.
