Story | Bayazid And His Mother

Once upon a time there was a boy named Bayazid. He lived in Bustan. He had great love and obedience to his mother. It made him famous all over the world. One night the boy, Bayazid was sitting beside his ailing mother. She was lying on her bed. At midnight she woke up and wanted a glass of water. Bayazid went to the kitchen to bring water. But the pitcher was empty. He went alone to the fountain with the pitcher and came back home with the pitcher full of water. In the meantime, his mother was fast asleep again. He did not want to disturb his ailing. So, he remained standing beside his mother's bed. In the morning Bayazid's mother awake. She became astonished to see her son standing with the glass of water beside her bed. After a moment she could remember everything and prayed to Almighty Allah for her son. In his later life, Bayazid became a great saint.

Moral : Heaven lies at the feet of a mother.
