Story | As You Saw, So Shall You Reap/ Tit For Tat

Once there was a tricky fox who became friends with a stork. They became close, but the fox liked to play mean jokes on the stork. One day, the fox wanted to trick the stork again. He invited the stork to a dinner. The stork accepted the invitation.

When they sat down to eat, the fox put a shallow bowl of soup in front of himself. The stork saw the soup and felt hungry. The clever fox quickly licked up all the soup with his tongue, but the stork could only pick at it with his long beak. The stork felt sad and embarrassed, but he decided to get back at the fox.

The stork wanted to teach the fox a lesson, so he invited him to a party. He placed a tall jar with a narrow neck in front of the fox. Inside the jar, there was delicious boiled rice. The fox tried everything to reach the rice, but he couldn't get his paws inside the jar. The stork, with his long beak, easily enjoyed the rice. The fox felt very humiliated and frustrated.

The moral of the story is that it's not nice to play mean jokes on others because they might find a way to get back at you.
