Composition | Family Planning
The world is limited in size, so we need to organize things on Earth carefully. That includes planning our families. Planning a family means deciding how many children we want.
The population of our country is increasing quickly, about 2.16 percent every year. But our resources are limited. If the population keeps growing, we will face problems and suffer. Wise people say that a small family is a happy family. A small family can provide enough food, clothes, shelter, education, and medical care for its members. A big family cannot do all these things properly. That's why every family should plan.
Bangladesh has a good system for family planning, but many people in the lower class and in villages don't know about its benefits. They don't use the free birth control items they are given.
Most people don't take the problem of overpopulation seriously. They don't understand that more children mean less food. Lack of education is the main reason why family planning fails in our country. Many women in the lower class have babies almost every year and don't have time for education. However, improving women's status is connected to reducing the birth rate.
The government has the most responsibility. It should educate people about family planning and make sure children are well provided for, with enough food and support for unemployed graduates.
All adults in our families should follow the advice of family planning experts. Also, the government should offer more facilities and opportunities for everyone.
In conclusion, if we want happy families and to solve problems like hunger and illiteracy, we need to plan our families carefully.
