Once upon a time, there was a very old lion who had become too weak to hunt and catch his own food. He was worried because he knew that if he didn't eat soon, he would starve to death. The lion thought hard about what he could do to solve his problem, and finally an idea came to him.

He decided to use his cunning and trickery to survive. He came up with a plan to pretend that he was sick and unable to move. He thought that anyone who came to check on him would become his next meal. The old lion put his wicked plan into action, and it worked. Many of his friends who genuinely cared about him came to visit, but they ended up being killed by the lion.

However, evil deeds don't last forever. One day, a clever fox came to see the lion. The fox was known for being very smart, and as soon as he arrived at the lion's cave, he sensed something was wrong. He looked around and noticed that all the footprints led into the cave, but none came out.

Realizing the lion's deceit, the fox decided to stay outside the cave and talk to the lion from there. He asked the lion how he was feeling, and the lion replied that he felt really bad. The fox pretended to be concerned but cleverly pointed out that he couldn't enter the cave because he saw only footprints going in and none coming out.

The fox quickly understood the danger and left to warn the other animals about the lion's treachery.
