Composition | My Best Friend

I have a really great friend named Ashutosh, who is the most special person in my life. He's always there for me when I face any problems, and he's like a guiding light, showing me the right path. Even with his busy schedule, he always makes time for me. Since he's my neighbor, we spend a lot of time together even after school. We go on picnics whenever we have school breaks and enjoy our holidays together with our families. We also go to the Ramlila fair at the Ramlila ground and have a blast. We participate in all the extracurricular activities at school together. We love playing cricket and carom at home. He's more than just a mentor to me because whenever I'm in a tough spot, he always gives me the right advice.

He means so much to me that I can't imagine doing anything without him. He's always in a good mood and never takes the wrong path. He always does what's right and motivates everyone in our class to do the same. Even in difficult times, he has a smiling face and never lets his problems show. He's a great counselor and loves explaining things. He takes care of his parents, grandparents, and other family members. He always respects and obeys them, as well as other older people in our community. I first met him in fifth grade, and now we're in eighth grade in the same class.

He's very tall and looks different from my other classmates. Once, I was really upset because I didn't have enough money to buy all the necessary books in sixth grade. He noticed my sadness and asked me what was wrong. I shared my story with him, and he said, "Why are you so worried and unhappy over this small problem? Don't worry, we can share all the books at school and at home. You don't need to buy a single book for the whole year." Then he made me laugh with his jokes and stories. I'll never forget the moment he helped me, and I'm always ready to help him too. He's very practical and never mixes his personal and professional life. He always helps me whenever I struggle with my math homework. Our interests may not always align, but we're still the best of friends.
