Composition | Our School Library
A library is like a storage place for knowledge. It has lots of different books. Every school has a library because it helps us learn by reading books. Our school also has a library.
Our school library is big. It has two parts. One part is a room for reading. There's a desk where we can borrow books. The other part has many shelves with books. Our school library is a modern one-story building. It's next to the science building.
Our school library has a lot of books. There are around six thousand books in total. There are different types of books for students in different grades. We have novels, plays, and storybooks. We also have biographies, autobiographies, and other books about art, science, and business. The library also has books that teachers can use for reference.
The library is managed by a librarian and assistants. We students have library cards so we can borrow books. The assistants help us find the books we want and give them to us. We can keep the books at home for one week. Teachers can borrow reference books, but we students can only read them in the reading room.
Each class has a library period. During that time, the students can go to the library to read and borrow books. If we want to borrow books, we have to follow the borrowing process.
Our school library is really helpful to us. We benefit directly and indirectly from it. When we read the library books ourselves, we get direct benefits. When our teachers read the library books to prepare for their classes, we get indirect benefits.
We really like our school library because it's a special place for reading and learning. We're proud of our school library.
