Story | The Master And His Student
Once upon a time, there was a wise teacher who was walking beside a river. Suddenly, he heard someone shouting for help. He hurried to the river and saw that it was his student who had fallen into the water. The student was frantically waving his arms and crying out loudly. When the student saw the teacher, he yelled, "Teacher! Please help me. I'm going to drown in the river!" The teacher told the student to stay calm and said, "My child, don't panic! I will find a way to rescue you. But how did you end up in the river?" The student replied, "I was trying to learn how to swim using a piece of wood as support. After a while, I thought I could swim without it, so I let go of the wood and started swimming without it. But the current was very strong, and I lost my balance." The teacher looked around and found another piece of wood lying on the riverbank. He threw it towards the student and said, "Take this as a lesson. In the future, never let go of the wood until you're absolutely certain you can swim without it."
The moral of the story is: Think carefully before making hasty decisions.
