Story | The Balloon

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Addy who lived in a city. Addy loved playing with balloons that were filled with gas. One day, he was playing with his friends and they made a bet. Each of them believed that their balloon would go the highest in the sky.

Addy decided to buy a blue balloon, thinking that since the sky was also blue, it would travel the highest. When they all let go of their balloons at the same time, Addy was disappointed to see that his balloon didn't go the highest. He felt sad and went back home with a heavy heart.

The next day, the children made another bet. This time, Addy thought of buying a red balloon because the previous day, the red balloon had gone the highest. However, once again, his balloon didn't go as high as he had hoped. He came back home feeling sad once more.

On the third day, the children were playing the same game again. Addy really wanted to win this time, but he was confused. He didn't know what color of balloon to buy because he didn't know which one would go the highest. Addy was puzzled, so he went to the person selling the balloons for help.

Addy asked the balloon seller, "Please tell me, which balloon will go the highest in the sky? Is it the red, yellow, green, or blue one?" The balloon seller smiled at Addy and said, "My dear child! It's not the color of the balloon that determines how high it will go. What matters most is what's inside the balloon. The one filled with more gas, especially the lightest gas, will rise the highest."

The balloon seller then gave Addy the balloon that had more gas than the others. That day, Addy won the game and came home with a smile on his face.

The moral of the story is that how high a person rises in life doesn't depend on their caste, color, or creed, but on their thoughts, confidence, values, and character.
