Story | The Sultan And The Kazi/ Giasuddin Azam Shah

Long ago there was a Sultan in Bengal. His name was Giasuddin Azam Shah. He was very just and kind. His hobby was hunting, One day while he was on hunting deer in a jungle he shot a fawn. But it missed the target. Instead of the fawn, the arrow pierced a boy who was the only son of a widow. The widow was much shocked. She brought charge against the Sultan to the Kazi. The Kazi asked the Sultan to compensate the widow. He made the widow happy. Then the Kazi embraced the Sultan. He said that if he disobeyed him, he would punish him. The Sultan also said if he failed to make justice, he would beat him. Then they became good friends.
