Story | The Tiger And The Woodpecker
Once upon a time, a tiger was eating some meat when a bone got stuck in his teeth. He tried really hard to remove it, but he couldn't do it. He felt very helpless and started making loud sounds because it hurt a lot.
A woodpecker was sitting nearby and saw the tiger's pain. The woodpecker asked the tiger what was wrong. The tiger showed him the bone that was stuck in his teeth. The woodpecker said that he could take out the bone, but he had a condition. The woodpecker wanted the tiger to give him some of his food always. The tiger agreed because he wanted the bone out of his teeth. The woodpecker used its sharp beak to remove the bone successfully.
One day, the tiger caught a big prey and the woodpecker asked for his share of the food. But the tiger said no and told the woodpecker that he should be grateful that the tiger didn't kill him when he entered the tiger's mouth. The woodpecker felt really angry and upset at the tiger's lack of gratitude. So, the woodpecker pecked the tiger in one eye with its beak. The tiger cried out in pain, and the woodpecker told him that he should be grateful that the woodpecker didn't blind both of his eyes.
