Story | Think Before You Act

Once upon a time, there was a fat fox who lived in a small forest far from the city. The fox had been feeling very hungry for a while because he hadn't been able to catch any smaller animals for several days. One day, he happened to spot a crow sitting on a high branch of a tree, holding a piece of cheese in its beak. The fox's hunger grew even stronger, and he really wanted to eat that cheese. However, he knew it was impossible for him to jump onto the tree branch and snatch the cheese away from the crow.

The fox was very clever, though, and he came up with a strange plan to get the cheese. He started praising the crow loudly, saying that it was a fast bird and could fly better than any other bird or man-made airplane, which always disturbed the animals and birds in the area. He also complimented the crow on its sweet and honey-like voice. Then the fox asked the crow to sing a song for his enjoyment.

The crow felt incredibly flattered to hear such praise from the fox. He couldn't resist the temptation to hear more about his sweet voice and singing. So he cawed and cawed and sang a beautiful song about his beloved. In the midst of all this, he didn't notice that the piece of cheese had fallen to the ground. But when he looked down, he saw the fox jumping with joy. To his great sorrow, the crow realized that the fox was eating the very cheese that had fallen because of his own foolishness.
