Composition | The Home We Live In
In order to be a part of society, every person needs a place to live, which is called a residence or a house. When different types of houses are located in a specific area for various purposes, it is known as a home. As social beings, we also have a home.
My home is situated in a village where I currently live. It is located in the district of Mymensingh and is called Rahmatullah Chudhury Bari. It faces south, which is beneficial for health.
There are seven houses in my home at present. The main house is a two-story building where my late grandfather used to live. I now live in this house myself. It has sixteen rooms, which were initially built by my grandfather for different purposes. Nowadays, these rooms serve various functions. My parents live in a well-furnished room on the ground floor. My room is upstairs, and my elder sister has her own separate room. There are eight members in our family, including my siblings and me. All the houses are painted white. The kitchen is located behind the main house, and the cow-shed is around ten yards away. The hens and pigeons have their own separate sheds. We have two gardens in our house - one for flowers and the other for vegetables. The flower garden is just below my reading room. In our vegetable garden, we grow various types of vegetables. My father has a great interest in vegetables, so he takes special care of the garden. Both gardens are well enclosed by fences. The main building faces the garden.
Our home is very clean and tidy in every aspect. Everything is arranged in an orderly manner, as my father cannot stand any disorder. We maintain strict discipline in our home in every way. My father is the head of the family, and my mother possesses wonderful qualities associated with being a woman. She knows how to manage our resources wisely. We lead a happy life because of our well-organized arrangements.
Considering all of these factors, I consider my house to be an ideal one, and I have a deep affection for it. I was born here, and I hope to peacefully spend the rest of my life here until my last breath.
