Maria, Rajshahi Govt. Mohila College: Maria, Rajshahi Govt. Mohila College: Cultural Week 2015 was held at Rajshahi Government Mohila College amidst a festive mood last week. The Principal of the College auditorium at 10.30 am on Sunday. All the programmers were scheduled for five days and start at 9:30 am each day. The programmes were classified into songs, dance, recitation, action, debate, speech, essay writing, quiz and other forms of arts and entertainment. Apart from the teachers, distinguished resource persons from the city were invited to be judges in the competitions. After everyday’s competition, the names of the winners were announced. Bilkis Mahmuda of Science group, class eleven, became champion of the cultural week. Keya Huq of Business Studies, class twelve, and Sakila Islam of Arts and Humanities, class twelve, became second and third respectively The final day of the week was on Thursday. There was no competition that day. The best performers of each event performed before the audience. The Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation was present as the chief guest. He distributed prizes among the winners.
