Report | HSC result has been published. The pass percentage has broken the previous record. Now make a report on it.

Staff Correspondent; Dhaka, January 2015: The results of HSC examinations under eight Education Boards were polished yesterday. The pass percentage as well as the number of GPA 5 broke all the previous records. 7,80,000 students appeared in the examination out of which 6,51,512 came out successful. The percentage of passing is 83.5% which is 20% higher than the last year’s. Total 80000 students in all boards secured GPA 5. The percentage of successful students in Dhaka Board is 90% while in Rajshahi 75% Jessore Board 80% Chittagong Board 85% Sylhet Board 70% Comilla Board 76% and Barisal Board 82%. Of all the colleges in Dhaka Board Rajuk Uttara College, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, Residential Model College and Mirzapur Cadet College showed the best performance. Securing GPA-5 is higher in cities than in rural areas. Though the guardians are happy with the result of their children, at the same time they are anxious of their children’s getting chance of admission into better universities.
