The Birds, The Beasts and The Selfish Bats
Once upon a time, there was a big fight between birds and animals. The birds fought really hard against the animals, and the animals fought back fiercely. The bats were a bit confused. They thought, "We can join the birds because we can fly, but we can also join the animals because we don't lay eggs. We'll just wait and see who wins."
At one point, it seemed like the birds were winning, so the bats decided, "Okay, let's team up with the birds." But things changed again, and the animals started to gain the upper hand. So, the bats switched sides and supported the animals.
After a long and tough battle, the birds and animals finally reached a truce. But here's the twist - they both forgot about the bats. The bats had to live in holes and only come out at night because by then, the day animals and birds had gone to sleep, and the night creatures were still in their homes.
The lesson here is that being sneaky and switching sides doesn't earn you any real friends in the end.
