LION AND THE SLAVE STORY FOR KIDS
A long time ago in a town, there was a rich man who owned a slave. Unfortunately, this rich man treated the slave very poorly and was mean to him all the time. The slave couldn't bear this mistreatment anymore and decided he had to escape from his cruel owner. One day, he saw his chance and ran away to the nearby forest. He found a cave and hid there. While he was in the cave, he was thinking about his master.
Suddenly, he heard a lion groaning nearby, and this scared him a lot. The lion came closer to the cave, and the slave could see that the lion was hurt and limping. The lion approached the slave and showed him its paw. The slave noticed that there was a thorn stuck in the lion's paw, making it very painful. The slave carefully removed the thorn from the lion's paw. The lion felt much better and went away. From that moment on, they became friends.
Time passed, and eventually, the slave was caught by his master's men by bad luck. They brought him back to his master, who decided to punish him by putting him in front of a hungry lion. The day of punishment was set, and the whole town was invited to watch this scary fight between the lion and the slave.
When the lion was let out of its cage to attack the slave, something amazing happened. The lion recognized the slave as its friend. Instead of attacking, the lion slowly approached the slave and started licking his hands affectionately. It was the same lion that the slave had helped in the forest. The slave also patted the lion gently.
This was an incredible sight for everyone who was watching. The lion's behavior showed that kindness is never forgotten. As a reward for his kindness, the slave was given ownership of the lion. Even more happily, the slave was set free by his master.
So, the lesson we learn from this story is that being kind to others can bring good things back to us in unexpected ways.
