Sheikh Saadi And The Robbers | Moral Story

Once upon a time, there was a man named Sheikh Saadi who went on a journey to a place called Baghdad. He wasn't alone – he traveled with a bunch of traders who had lots of money and valuable things. Sheikh Saadi himself had money and books with him. They were all very happy as they journeyed together for twelve days.

But then, something unexpected happened. On the fifteenth day of their journey, a group of robbers appeared out of nowhere! These robbers were like bad guys who wanted to take the traders' valuable things. They took away all the money and precious stuff from the traders. It was quite a scary situation!

The leader of the robbers looked at Sheikh Saadi and said, "Hey you, give us everything you've got!" Sheikh Saadi didn't get scared. Instead, he handed over all the books he had. He said something really funny, "I hope you enjoy reading these books!" The robber leader was surprised by this strange response and asked, "What do you mean? How can we read books?"

Sheikh Saadi had a clever idea. He told the robber leader to find a good teacher who could help the robbers' children learn from these books. He said, "When your kids read these books, they'll understand why it's wrong to take things from others. They'll learn how it feels to lose something valuable." The robber leader and his friends started thinking about what Sheikh Saadi said.

Believe it or not, the robbers actually felt sorry for what they did. They realized that taking things from others was hurtful and wrong. So, they decided to do something surprising – they gave back all the money and valuable things they took from the traders and Sheikh Saadi. They even promised to stop being robbers!

And that's how Sheikh Saadi's clever idea and funny words turned the robbers into good people. They learned an important lesson about kindness and fairness. So remember, even in strange situations, using your brain and saying something unexpected can change things for the better. And they all lived happily ever after, just like in the stories!
