A Kitchen Garden Paragraph

A kitchen garden is a special place where you grow different kinds of vegetables and herbs that you can use for cooking at home. Usually, this garden is located near your house. My kitchen garden is next to the northern side of our home, close to a small pond. The garden gets a lot of sunlight, and I can easily water it using water from the pond. I take care of the kitchen garden myself, and I work there two times each day. In the morning, I give water to the vegetable plants. Then, in the afternoon, after I come back from college, I spend about an hour working in the kitchen garden. During this time, I loosen the soil, remove unwanted grass, and fix the drainage system.

I grow many different types of vegetables in my kitchen garden. Some of the main items are tomatoes, cucumbers, gourds, peppers, sweet potatoes, papayas, and beans. Throughout the whole year, my kitchen garden provides our family with the vegetables we need. We don't have to spend money buying expensive vegetables from the market. This way, my kitchen garden helps us save a good amount of money every year. What's even better is that I really enjoy eating the fresh food that I grow with my own hands. It makes me very happy to know that my kitchen garden also contributes a little bit to my family's finances.
