A dialogue between you and your friend about The Selfish Giant

Myself: Hi Amrita, how are you doing today?
Amrita: I'm fine, and you?
Myself: I'm doing well too. Have you ever heard the story of "The Selfish Giant"?
Amrita: Yes, I've heard the name, but I don't know the full story. Do you know it?
Myself: Yes, I do.
Amrita: Could you please share it with me?
Myself: Certainly! Once, there was a selfish giant who owned a beautiful garden in front of his home. He left for his friend's place and stayed away for seven years. During his absence, children started playing in his garden after school.
Amrita: What happened when he returned and found the children playing there?
Myself: He was furious and drove them away, even building a huge wall to keep them out.
Amrita: That was quite selfish of him.
Myself: Indeed. As a result, the garden became lifeless, devoid of flowers and birds. It was as if perpetual winter had taken over the once vibrant space.
Amrita: He got what he deserved.
Myself: Eventually, one day, he heard the joyful chirping of birds and, looking out of the window, saw the children playing in his garden once more. It was filled with flowers and birds.
Amrita: What did he do then?
Myself: He decided to step out of his castle and approach the children. However, as soon as the children saw him coming, they ran away, and the garden returned to its cold, lifeless state.
Amrita: Did he understand the reason behind this?
Myself: Yes, he realized that his selfishness was the cause of the garden's despair. Feeling remorseful, he had a change of heart.
Amrita: What happened next? Please tell me more.
Myself: He decided to allow the children to enter the garden freely and play. Miraculously, the garden regained its life, blooming with flowers and vibrant with birds. From that moment on, the giant and the children became close friends, and the moral of the story is "Happiness is found through true love and selflessness."
Amrita: Thank you for sharing this beautiful story.
Myself: You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Amrita: Goodbye.
Myself: Goodbye. Take care, and see you again soon.
