A Rainy Day Paragraph
A Rainy Day
Rainy days are usually dreary and sad for most people, but some can actually like them. We often see rainy days in our country, especially during the rainy season. The sky gets covered with clouds, and there's a lot of rain during this time. Sometimes the rain is heavy, and sometimes it gets lighter for a while. So, the amount of rain can change from hour to hour. Sometimes there's a strong rain, other times it's a light rain, and occasionally the wind blows really hard. This makes the raindrops blow around, and they might come into rooms if the windows are open by chance. Sometimes we also hear thunder and see lightning in the sky, which looks like a zigzag light in the dark sky.
In many cities and towns, the roads and streets get flooded when it rains a lot. People walk on the roads using umbrellas to stay dry. It's not easy to find rickshaws on a rainy day, and if you do find one, the drivers ask for a lot of money. Buses are really full, and there aren't many taxis around either. People who go to work or school have a tough time on rainy days. If they don't have umbrellas or raincoats, they get completely wet. Students usually like rainy days because classes are often canceled. They spend their time talking and having fun. But poor people and day laborers struggle because they can't find work, so they don't earn any money. Even animals have a hard time on rainy days. Only rich people can enjoy rainy days because they don't have urgent work to do or jobs to go to. People who love poetry can feel inspired on rainy days. They enjoy hearing the romantic and rhythmic sounds of the raindrops. But for most people, rainy days are difficult. They can't go to work, so they might not have enough to eat. Birds and animals also get wet in the rain. So, a rainy day is a sad and gloomy day for poor people, but rich people can have fun on these days.
