Comparing the status of women today to that of the past Paragraph

In the past, women didn't have many rights and were treated worse. Nowadays, women can do lots of things in society. They can go to schools, colleges, and universities to learn. They know they have rights and can even be in the government. They can work in different jobs, like in the government or private companies. They can go shopping and do other activities without being treated badly. They can also make choices about what they like and don't like. They try to be independent and take care of themselves. But in the past, women had to depend on men for everything. They weren't allowed to go to school and had to stay at home. They could only do housework and take care of kids. They cooked and served the men in the family. So, nowadays, women have more freedom and better lives compared to before.
