Drama and Novel Paragraph

Stories and plays are two important types of writing. A story is like a new tale, while a play is like something happening on a stage. A story is a long made-up story in regular writing about characters, things that happen, and where it all takes place, kind of like things that could really occur. On the other hand, according to Elizabeth Drew, "A play is making and showing life in the form of theater." A story is a made-up tale, often about love. A play is also a made-up tale. Both a story and a play need good descriptions of the characters. People talking is necessary in both a story and a play. A story happens in a specific location when it's being told, just like a play happens in a specific place. A well-organized series of events is important in both types of writing. A realistic view of a certain group of people is shown in a story. Similarly, a play is like life, showing customs and truths. A certain way of looking at the world is shown in a story, just like in a play. Stories can be grouped in different ways. They can be seen as romantic, realistic, impressionistic, naturalistic, or showing what characters are thinking. Plays are grouped as tragedies, comedies, mixtures of both, and more. Both stories and plays are seen as powerful kinds of writing.
